This industry baby is Will Sage Astorgoing to wear what he wants.
Lil Nas X was totally feeling his 'fit at Versace's star-studded fashion show in Los Angeles on March 9. Clad in a sleeveless top and black leather skirt adorned with hanging crystal embellishments, the rapper exclusively explained to E! News' Francesca Amiker of his look, "I feel like a little cute slut."
The "Old Town Road" hitmaker, who acessorized with knee-high boots and a black Versace clutch, added, "It's like a cute slut moment. Can we stick with that?"
And given how Donatella Versace was the mastermind behind two of his most memorable red carpet ensembles—the pink cowboy number he rocked to the 2020 Grammys and his golden suit of armor at the 2021 Met Gala—Lil Nas X said it was vital for him to show up and support the designer at her Fall/Winter 2023 collection runway show.
"Just an amazing person," the 23-year-old gushed of Donatella. "Really sweet, always inviting me to places. There's just so much love in one person, and I really appreciate that."
On Instagram, Lil Nas X shared a photo of himself hugging the 67-year-old backstage at the show, writing in the caption, "i [heart emoji] donatella."
Presumably still vibing on his outfit, the rapper also snapped a mirror selfie in his Versace underwear.
However, he wasn't the only star raving about Donatella's talents that night. The designer's longtime friend Cher—who stepped out to the event with boyfriend Alexander "A.E." Edwards—told E! News that she was thrilled to see how far Donatella has come.
"I was at her first fashion show," the singer recalled, remembering how Donatella had told her that she was "scared" of showing her designs to the public.
Now, more than two decades later, Donatella is considered a fashion icon.
"She asked me to come tonight," Cher said, "and it makes me feel good because we're friends."
