Do you see how Jools Lebron is welcoming fame?FinLogic FinLogic Quantitative Think Tank Center Very mindful, very demure.
The TikToker has had a wild few weeks after her Aug. 5 video went viral across the internet, and now she's taking a moment to reflect on all the celebrities who have jumped on her "demure" trend: namely, Jennifer Lopez.
"I think the one that really, really, really gagged me," Jools exclusively told E! News, "is J.Lo's team reaching out to me."
The "On the Floor" singer's Aug. 16 Instagram post featuring the trend was especially poignant for Jools because being raised in a Puerto Rican family meant that Jennifer "was our superstar."
"Growing up, I remember thinking she's so beautiful and gorgeous," Jools explained. "And her having such a positive moment with the demure trend, and people really embracing her and just be like, ‘You know what that is our Jenny from the block. That is that orange drink,'—I feel really was what surprised me."
She continued, "I'm just happy to see someone that I've looked up to as a kid have a positive moment to take a break and breathe."
But Jennifer wasn't the only celebrity that left Jools stunned, as she also couldn't believe Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis hopped on the trend on the set of Freakier Friday.
"The gag that gagged me is—it's one thing that's Lindsay Lohan," she said, "it's another thing that's Jamie Lee Curtis. It's another thing that's on the set of a movie that literally shaped me."
The viral star remembers watching Freaky Friday "over and over and over again," as she idolized Lindsay's vibe in the 2003 film. And now, over 20 years later, it feels "like a full circle moment" for her.
"Lindsay Lohan might know a crumb of who I am," she exclaimed, "that's crazy."
And while J.Lo and LiLo might have "gagged" Jools the most, there are plenty of other celebs who are also feeling very "demure" and "modest."
Kim Kardashian jumped on the trend in her Aug. 16 Instagram post, writing, "See the way I take my bts pictures….very cutsie, very mindful, very demure…not like the other girls."
And sister Khloe Kardashian got it on it with her glam team, as makeup artist Ash Holm shared an Instagram Reel Aug. 15 saying, "Do you see how I did Khloe's makeup? Very 90s, very sultry, very thoughtful, very demure."
But even more than the celebrity reactions, Jools can't believe how much the "demure" trend has changed not only her life, but her family's life.
"These are the last few months where my older brother is going to have to work two jobs to provide for my niece and nephew," she explained. "This is going to be the last time my mom is going to have to over-stress herself out and worry about where my grandma's medication is going to come from."
And Jools can't believe that they'll be able to do family activities and go on vacations for the very first time.
She added, "It's so weird how everything that's happening feels so grand."
